Meet the Momma Makers behind the scenes:
Sarah Dhooge, Founder
Sarah started The Momma Collective in Halifax, NS back in February 2012 based on a need to connect with her community and show her love for local handmade goodness. She’s all about fuelling Mom-powered pursuits in her own passionate & enthusiastic ways. Sarah loves her uber-wild boys, enjoys big cups of coffee, and dreams of getting back on her yoga mat one day. Now living in Kelowna, she is a pediatric speech-language pathologist specializing in working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. She’s a whiz with a glue gun and makes *the* best rice krispie squares; find her blogging instead of sleeping here on the site.
Ashley Foster, Creative Director, East Coast Ambassador
Ashley joined The Momma Collective team with a new found passion for small businesses after starting her own graphic design business A Creative Destiny in 2012. She loves the sense of community and positive energy the collective brings to working as an entrepreneur. Ashley is a full time Mom of a growing family and spends her days designing wedding stationery for couples near and far.
